I can't believe this place only has an average of 3 stars! I was so impressed by the extensive bubble tea and food menu.
You select your orders on an iPad then pay at the cashier. Service is very friendly and quick. They have plenty of seating inside and even TV's to watch while you wait.
Tea Funny offers so many flavors and types of drinks (with/without cream, hot or cold), different types of boba (popping, jelly, pudding), and a large Asian food & dessert menu. I loved my hot taro boba which was perfect on a freezing Calgary night.
I didn't see an easily accessible parking lot, though maybe there was one nearby. We just parked on the street right in front. I could see how it might be difficult to visit during the daytime. -

Interesting place with lots of seating. Order by iPad then pay at counter. They have lunch specials like chicken on rice and daily drink specials too but I was only interested in a lychee peach bubble tea. I had to inquire about the flavour mixture due to my dairy issue. Don't get anything with coconut as it has milk powder in it if you're dairy free. The man behind the counter informed me of this and was very helpful about my options.
They have slush, milk tea, plain tea, smoothies with many flavour choices. I did find my peach lychee overly sweet so I'll ask about half sweet next time. The place was fairly clean but I found the bathroom to be spotless and the toilet to start singing. Check my pic and you'll understand why!

A decent establishments with modern design, and an interesting order system (order through the use of iPad). The service was average, the employees don't look happy. I recommend their specialty tea drinks (Iron Goddess Oolong Tea), I haven't tried their food, so I will update this once I've eaten. So far my only complaint is that I didn't get to see where to adjust my sugar level until someone told me that it is located at the bottom of the selection. For anyone wanting to adjust sugar level, please go through the entire selections when ordering a drink. The drink I had was just too sweet, I added milk when I came home to adjust it.

Yup this place has definitely gone to crap! Service sucks but they seem to think they deserve a tip so they add it on the bill. I use to come here all the time for shaved ice until the quality started to go down hill and on top of it the portions also got smaller, i also had enough of their arrogant attitude.

Great food and great service! This is such a great alternative to boring coffee shops in the city! They have electrical plugs on each table and comfy seating perfect for studying! You can order from the ipad on the table and so you don't even have to interrupt your train of thought or momentum! The washrooms are clean! The service is great, and the interiors are stylish that it makes you want to stay longer and be productive while at this café!
